Christmas I

Seeing as Becky and Stewart are the only family that won't be in Anchorage for Christmas, we decided to go for a real tree this year...up until now we've had a 3.5 foot fake cute little pre-lit tree. So, we went to Lowes and picked out a tree...it looked like a nice medium tree in the huge ol' warehouse...got it home and the thing is HUGE!!! John and Jer had to cut off part of the top to get it to fit under the TALLEST part of our ceiling!!!! Had to purchase twice the bulbs and it took 8 strings of lights!! But, it smells awesome and it's pretty!

What a beautiful tree!!! We have many great Christmas memories that include 'wow, the tree didn't look that big outside'. We traditionally have large ones that range from 9-12 feet and always enjoy them!! Have a very Merry Christmas with all the family :)

It's gorgeous! Looks like you have a knack for decorating, like your mom.
