Crater tour

Jenn and I went on a horseback ride through the Haleakala Crater today! It was an amazing 5.5 hours and though we're both sore, it was totally worth it!

Maui

Jeremy and I are in Maui for two glorious weeks!! We went to Big Beach today and absorbed some much needed rays!

There are fresh plumeria right outside our balcony.

Manda's visit

North Bend

I was able to spend last week in North Bend with Becky, Stew, Petal, Finn, and Sawyer! I had a wonderful time and can't believe how much the kids have grown!! As always it was very difficult to leave!!

How to feel better

I came down with a cold a few days ago. My neice Petal found out and was quite upset. She drew me this picture and insisted that Stewart both email it to me and mail me the poster! Who can't feel better after receiving love like this?!?

Earthquake?!

Jeremy and I were enjoying a quiet evening at home last night when suddenly the house shook!! We assumed it was an earthquake. That is, until Jeremy went to let the dogs out and saw a huge light and a plume of smoke. Turns out, a house about a block away exploded!! I guess the furnace began leaking and subsequently exploded. Thankfully the family of nine made it out unharmed!!
