*sigh*

So, after enjoying a late morning of sleep, I open my blinds to find this. . .

And then while sitting down to write this post, my house jolted really hard twice and I heard what sounded like a bomb exploding; since I am still here writting this post and the electricity is still on, I can assume it's NOT North Korea - probably an earthquake; they seem to increase in the winter.

So, while this first sprinkling of snow probably won't last, it's a sign winter's probably well on it's way and I should get my snow tires put on!

We're back!!

Well, we had a spectacular time in Seattle; it was wonderful to see Becky and Stew and to meet Petal! It was good to see a lot of Ketchikan friends at Brady and Lisa's wedding. I hesitated to take pictures of Brady and Lisa's wedding as I didn't want to cancel out the flash of the camera's of the professional photographers. At any rate, all our congrats to them!! Here's a picture of myself and the most precious little girl on the face of the planet, Miss Petal May. I loved her at first sight from all the pictures I've been sent since her birth, but to actually meet her in person and see her personality develop right before my eyes was the most spectacular, wonderful thing in the world!! I miss her already. . .

PARTY!!!!

So, we have made it a habit every 3 months to gather all of the employees from my department and all the employees at the front desk to get together over a meal, have a gift exchange and get to know one another outside the patterns of our daily workflow. We had an absolute blast!!
