Jenn and I took a walk at Kincaid Park on this lovely fall day. The leaves changing are just beautiful and it just smells like fall! Kincaid is your most likely place for moose sightings; we went the whole walk without seeing a single moose, but nearly ran into one as we were getting into our car to come home!! They are magnificent creatures. The change towards cooler temperatures will push them down from the mountains and into town. Anyway, thought I'd share the moose sighting as well as how today was in Anchorage (not that a photograph does the real thing justice)!

Playing Tourist

Jeremy and I won tickets to go on a tour with 26 Glacier Cruise out of Whittier. It was my first experience seeing glaciers up close, which was a lot cooler than I thought it would be!! Now that we've been here 3 years, I guess it's about time we do some of the stuff people pay huge amounts of money to travel all the way up here and see; it is in our back yard after all!!
