Today was the 2nd Annual Running of the Reindeer in downtown Anchorage as part of our Fur Rondy Festival.
It kind of takes after the running of the bulls in Spain...only Reindeer antlers are soft and grown inward, so you have less chance of getting gorged...thank God!
Tony convinced Jeremy to run with him...and here they are! :)

Now THAT sounds like a lot of fun!! Were there lots of contestants and who won? Anyone get gorged?
Looks like fun! We have a friend that went up there for that... did you see him? Ha, ha! Don't get run over.
I wasn't aware that they even did stuff like that. That's hilarious! What an Alaskan thing to do. Good for Jeremy being brave enough to do something so audacious. One day, he'll be able to look back and proudly say, "Yep, I ran with reindeer." And people will look at him oddly and say, "What?!"
Just wanted to let you know a friend from my Church, Brian Ehrhart, and his buddies won the outhouse event. Small world, eh?
