Precious Petal

Congratulations to Becky and Stewart on the arrival of Petal May Reinbold! She was born July 28, 2006 9:39pm weighing 6 lbs 4 oz, 21'' long with a full head of dark hair. She is gorgeous and healthy and of course the most beautiful, precious child to ever be born!!

I love Mondays

I love Mondays!! My gracious employers allowed my department to do a trial period of working 4 10's and Monday is my extra day off. . .I absolutely LOVE it! On Sunday evenings when everyone else is groaning about getting up the next morning, I just smile and say, "I would be thinking of you in your Monday morning misery, but I will be sleeping"!!

July 4th Camping trip

Wow, I can't believe how much time has gone by since our last post!! Things have been CRAZY busy the last month. We started a Bible Study on Tuesday nights which God has totally blessed; over a dozen people and growing! We're also doing work around the house, finishing the trim, etc. We went camping for the 4th of July up at Eklutna Lake. It was GORGEOUS weather; I got to sleep and read and do NOTHING it was wonderful!! We were joined by several people; it was an all around good time. Here are some pictures. . .

First Camp

We had our first official camping trip this weekend. . .finally!!!! We attempted a trip a few weekends ago, but the spot we chose was so over-run with dip-netters, we could not find a free spot to save our lives! But, this trip was successful. We went to Eklutna Lake and found, actually, the last open spot at the camp ground we chose, so that was a blessing. It was only Friday night as we had plans in Anchorage Saturday evening, but it was a good opening to the camping season! We borrowed a friend's canoe and Jenn and Jeremy went out on the lake early Saturday morning (I chose to sleep in). I will post one of Jenn's pictures of the lake later. Wish more of you were here to share these adventures!!!
